Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. CandleImageThinking about my brother Paul with so many wonderful memories while we were growing up. We all care for each other while we helped to raise each other. With a large family we had our own baseball teams. While I was very little daddy would come home very tired from work. With the two teams one of the brothers would pitch to dad he hit the ball far and I would run the bases.( remembered daddy made home runs frequency). I had tired to put in the Chieftain that Paul had a old bike and he taught me how to ride it. I enjoyed that but it was his bike and he rode it more. We did a lot of things together. He used to loved to wrestle in Jr High and high School I was his wrestling partner at home in the basement so he could practice more. Paul was very good at it.
While I was in high school Paul got drafted into the Army, the Vietnam War was going on and I was so upset that he might had to go there. I know God was with him as never went to Vietnam and went to Greece and other place and came home safety. He went to college an go a AA degree then worked for the Bureau of Land Management as he helped built the Pueblo Reservoir then worked at Twin lakes while him and his first wife Carolyn and son lived in Buena Vista, Co. Then when that job was done he went to Cortez, Co to help built the Delores Reservoir. Paul was always a very hard worker and was very sad when his first wife died in 2001. Then he meet Michelle and two years after he they got married. They had been married for 18 years and I thank God that he someone to share his life with until he passed away. There are so many wonderful memories of Paul, he was a good person, great brother, now we hold on to the good and great memories. He was loved and will be missed
